Bri Larson
Bri is a Licensed Registered Professional Counsellor and Certified Life Coach in British Columbia, Canada. She’s passionately dedicated to helping people better their lives and in so doing, better those around them as well. Bri has always been fascinated by human potential and the reasons why thoughts and behaviours vary so widely. She started down the psychology track in 2003 and quickly fell in love with self-exploration and the world of personal development. Bri attended Simon Fraser University studying Psychology and later went on to attain her degree in Applied Psychology and Clinical Counselling from the Kelowna College of Professional Counselling. Professionally, she began by working as a coach and group facilitator for a personal development program where she learned the fundamentals of coaching and had the amazing opportunity to lead hundreds of people to achieve meaningful change in their personal lives. Her background is in both Somatic Coaching and Cognitive Behavioural Psychology with a specialization in Trauma and Relationships. She has an integrative approach utilizing Person-Centred Theory as the basis. She provides her clients honest and compassion based feedback that allows them to remove mental barriers and eliminate maladaptive behaviours in order to heal and achieve success. “For as long as I can remember I’ve been insatiably curious about human potential. I want to know what exactly it is that makes people genuinely happy, successful, and fulfilled. Why do some people struggle while others find a way to thrive, often despite the most challenging of circumstances? I believe you must bring your whole self to the table if you want to thrive in today’s world. Vulnerability and authenticity are key!” Bri is a mother of two sons. She enjoys an active lifestyle outside of work consisting of sports and recreational fitness. Bri’s areas of focus are Trauma, Grief, PTSD, Relationships, Addictions, Domestic Abuse, Anxiety & Depression, Group Therapy, Family Therapy.
